Industrial Antifatigue Mats

Industrial Rubber Antifatigue Floor Mats

Industrial style rubber floor mats (antifatigue matting) give workers relief from lower leg and lower back pain that typically occurs after spending hours working on hard surfaced floors. Not only are they useful in industrial climates, but they also provide relief in behind-the-counter operations such as automotive parts counters, warehouse shipping stations and other work stations which require workers to stand for hours on hard surfaced flooring.

These mats are referred to as antifatigue mats. They work through the use of an inner foam cell structure. This foam structure has a spring effect which causes small constant motion of the feet and lower legs. This constant motion in the legs and lower back keeps fresh blood flow and oxygen going to the muscles; action which does not occur on hard surfaced flooring. The extra blood flow to the muscles keeps them oxygenated. The result is decreased pain and fatigue in those muscles of the lower legs and back at the end of the day. Thus the name, anti fatigue matting!

Best-Mats offers a variety of anti-fatigue mats because they may be placed in many different environments. You may have a hard surface in a wet area which requires extra gripping action to keep from slips and falls. In dry environments you may not require an extra grip, but would like to provide a greater flexibility in the mat. The environment will be the deciding factor in your choice of antifatigue matting.

The Armor-Step™ safety anti-fatigue mat has a center closed-cell PVC foam and a wear resistant top surface with beveled edges for safety.
